Has Michelle Duggar Been To Her Son Josh’s Trial?
Has Michelle Duggar made an appearance at the courthouse amid her son Josh’s trial? Several members of the Duggar family have shown up over the past two weeks. But is his mom one of them?
In case you didn’t know, the eldest Duggar son was arrested for receiving and possessing child pornography. He is now in the midst of his trial and is facing up to 20 years behind bars plus up to $250,000 in fines on each count. If convicted, he will go to federal prison and conjugal visits will not be allowed.
Fans and critics of the Duggar family have been curious about which family members have appeared at the courthouse during Josh’s trial. Anna Duggar has been standing by her husband’s side every day of the trial. They walk into the courthouse hand-in-hand each day.
The following family and friends have been seen there by The Sun:
- Austin and Joy-Anna Forsyth
- Maria Reber (Josh’s custodian) and Hannah (custodian’s daughter) and David Keller (Anna’s brother and Hannah’s new husband)
- Derick and Jill Dillard
- Jessa Seewald
- Justin and Claire Duggar, as well as Claire’s parents
- Jason Duggar
- Jim Bob Duggar
- James Duggar
- Jana Duggar
- Laura DeMasie (Duggar family friend)
Note that not all of the people listed have shown up every day. Jill was there for the first time on Wednesday, December 8, for example.
Is Michelle Duggar at the courthouse?
The Sun has reported which Duggars have shown up on each day of the trial. And so far, Michelle has not made an appearance. The end of the trial is near as the jury deliberates.
We don’t know why Michelle hasn’t been spotted at the courthouse yet with the rest of her family. It’s possible she’s staying home and watching Josh and Anna’s seven children. However, there are several teenagers still living at her home, as well as her 31-year-old daughter, Jana, who could keep an eye on the kids if Michelle did want to go to court.
It’s also possible that Michelle doesn’t want to be at the trial for some reason. This is a very heavy topic, so it would make sense if she wanted to skip the trial and just get updates from other members of the family.
So, does it shock you that Michelle Duggar hasn’t been at the trial yet? Do you think there’s a reason for this? Let us know what you think in the comments section below. For more news about the Duggar family, come back to TV Shows Ace.
