It’s A Wonderful Lifetime is airing a Royal Christmas movie, Christmas With A Crown. What is it all about? According to The Futon Critic, after Cassie (Durupt) returns to her hometown to revive her family’s traditional Christmas festival. It was always something her late mother did, but the whimsical town of Wintervail had discontinued it after she died.
There, she meets a dashing stranger, Nicolas (Rosner), who’s volunteered to help organize the event. He is so invested in participating in the event. She does not understand why. Nicolas is not even from Wintervail! He shares that he was “captivated” by the story of this place.
However, sparks begin to fly between them. In addition, little does she know that he’s really a prince in disguise. He is just longing to find the true spirit of the holidays. He just wants one Christmas where he can enjoy the magic of the holiday. Maybe Cassie can help?
Meanwhile, his mother, Queen Mary (Rothery) demands that he returns for the Christmas Day coronation. If he does not show up, he abdicates the throne. That is a pretty heavy price to pay!
It will take a Christmas miracle of royal proportions for their hearts to meet as one.
