‘My 600-Lb. Life’: Did Paul MacNeill Get Weight Loss Surgery?
One of the biggest questions tonight’s episode of My 600-Lb. Life leaves viewers with is simple: Did Paul MacNeill get weight loss surgery? While the episode does end on a pretty positive note, it does come to an end before Paul MacNeill gets his surgery. Dr. Now more or less approves him for the surgery. But, the approval does come with a stipulation. What are these stipulations? Did Paul MacNeill end up getting his weight loss surgery? Here’s what we know.
Dr. Now gives Paul stipulations
During tonight’s episode of My 600-Lb. Life, Paul MacNeill agrees to move to Houston to get surgery. But, he wants to be approved for the surgery before he moves. Dr. Now pushes back explaining that he is not willing to approve Paul for the surgery until he moves to Houston.
After a bit of push and pull, the two agree that because of his progress he can be approved for surgery. Dr. Now tells Paul there are a few stipulations. For starters, he will have to move to Houston to get the surgery. Paul MacNeill also has to lose 15 pounds a month. Dr. Now also adds that Paul needs to not take too long to move to Houston.
My 600-Lb. Life: Did Paul MacNeill get weight loss surgery?
Fortunately, Paul MacNeil’s Facebook activity reveals whether he got weight loss surgery. My 600-Lb. Life viewers just need to be careful when digging for updates because there are two different accounts attached to his name and one of the accounts has reportedly been hacked by a scammer.
His other account reveals that he posted a fundraiser on Facebook back in August. The Fundraiser explained that he was just days away from having his surgery. Unfortunately, weight loss surgery was going to prevent him from being able to work from four to eight weeks. So, he was trying to raise money to accommodate bills after the surgery.
Paul MacNeill’s girlfriend Jenn also posted a similar fundraiser on her own profile. She gushed about how much she loved her man. And, she begged her friends and family members to consider helping donate money toward the bills he would accumulate while recovering from his surgery.
His profile activity reveals he did have weight loss surgery back in August. And, he’s now back home in Florida continuing to work hard on his weight loss progress.
My 600-Lb. Life viewers can watch Paul’s journey on tonight’s new episode. While the episode does not reveal whether or not surgery happens… We are happy to report Paul has successfully had weight loss surgery. And, he’s dropped over 250 pounds so far!
