Sharna Burgess On Why She Won’t Be On The ‘DWTS’ Tour This Winter
Now that Dancing With The Stars is over for the year, the professional dancers are preparing to go on tour. Just after the new year starts, they’ll appear in several cities across the United States for 11 weeks. You’ll get to see several of your favorite pros, but not everyone is coming along for the ride. Unfortunately, Season 27 champion Sharna Burgess won’t be coming.
Sharna Burgess just couldn’t make the time commitment for the DWTS tour this winter
It’s no secret that Sharna Burgess has a very busy schedule. And according to PopCulture, that’s why she can’t make it to the tour. The DWTS tour stretches from January to March and that’s quite a bit of time for someone to dedicate to the tour.
PopCulture reports that Sharna really tried to make it work. She even offered to come on tour for a few select dates. Special guests like Amanda Kloots, Jimmie Allen, and Kaitlyn Bristowe will join the tour on specific days. But it just didn’t work out.
“I will however miss it,” she reportedly told fans. “It’s bittersweet honestly. I’m so grateful for where my life is and is headed, and I’m committed to making time and space for that. But I will always have a part of my heart left on a live stage dancing for a live audience and watching you all smile and be inspired by what we do. That is an irreplaceable joy.”
So far, confirmed pros include reigning champion Daniella Karagach, her husband Pasha Pashkov, married couple Emma Slater and Sasha Farber, Artem Chigvintsev, Brandon Armstrong, Gleb Savchenko, Alan Bersten, and Britt Stewart. Season 30 backup dancer Sofia Ghavami will also be part of the touring cast.

So what will the Australian dancer do with her time instead?
As for Sharna, she’s happy at home with her boyfriend, Brian Austin Green. The pair began dating about a year ago. Fans loved seeing them compete on Dancing With The Stars together, even if the judges did get a little tired of the PDA after a few episodes.
Sources close to the couple say the pair have plans to spend the holidays together and are really enjoying one another’s company. Sharna didn’t specifically say that she didn’t want to be away from Brian for 11 weeks, but it’s possible that this factored into her choice. Witney Carson and Lindsay Arnold also aren’t going on the tour. Fans presume they don’t want to be away from their families and young children for so long.
