Josh Duggar Trial Brings Out Weird Reaction Of Brother Justin
Josh Duggar’s trial is underway, and several of his family members have made appearances at the courthouse. It’s unclear, at this time, who’s in support of Josh and who’s there for other reasons. But Justin Duggar has a strange reaction to the whole ordeal.
For those who don’t know, Josh is currently in the midst of a child pornography trial after explicit content was found on his devices at his car lot. He’s facing up to 20 years in prison, as well as $250,000 in fines if convicted. However, he claims he’s innocent.
His trial began on Tuesday, November 30. A lot of reports about the trial have come out since then. Interestingly, several members of the family have shown up to court, which may come as a surprise. As we already reported, Austin Forsyth and Derick Dillard were there on Wednesday. Anna Duggar has appeared every day so far just five weeks after giving birth to her seventh child.
On Thursday, however, according to The Sun, several other family members made an appearance. Joy-Anna Forsyth joined her husband. Plus, Justin and Claire Duggar, as well as her mother Hilary Spivey, are there. Claire’s brother, Robby, joined them.

The Sun snapped a photo of Justin exiting the courthouse. In the photo, he has a huge grin on his face as he gives the camera two thumbs up. Given that Justin just walked out of a child pornography trial, many people think this is a poor reaction.
Justin’s bizarre reaction was shared on Reddit, where Duggar family critics are discussing how “weird” it is.
One user writes, “Kid is clueless on now to behave at a serious event like this. Not shocked though.” Someone adds, “He clearly doesn’t understand the gravity of the situation and the accusations.”
One critic writes, “Read the room kiddo…”
Another user thinks they know why Justin responded this way. They write, “Came here to say this. Though it’s a bad idea to be all chipper at a trial like this, I’m betting it’s from built in brainwashing towards cameras. Remember, the Duggar children were essentially only allowed one emotion in that household, especially on camera: joy.”
This is weird. Even for a child groom.
