Teresa Giudice is not having much luck with her $2.25 million home. Her home is back on the market after the sale fell through. This comes after fans wondered if Teresa needs the money desperately. She just purchased a $3 million home with her fiance Luis Ruelas and could be trying to recoup the costs.
But the house she’s trying to sell is the one she once shared with her ex-husband Joe Giudice. She first relisted the mansion for under $2.5 million. Earlier this year, she reduced it to $2.25 million. Shortly thereafter, she took the listing down before listing it again for less than $2.25 million.
Pending house offer doesn’t go through
There are no takers for this luxurious mansion. The Post reported that the property is back on the market. Previously, there was a pending offer since March. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star’s home features six bedrooms and five-and-a-half baths. Though the housing market slowed down, homes are still selling. It’s unclear why this property has been in escrow for longer than it should have.
Teresa has not commented on this matter. The mansion sits on 4 acres of land and spans 10,00 feet. The stone and stucco structure includes a Juliet balcony and a dramatic entryway. It’s as dramatic as the homes in the movies.
Joe and Teresa purchased the home for $530,000 in 2002. They custom-built the home, which was finished six years later. The exterior features a lusciously landscaped backyard, in-ground swimming pool, and a covered patio. It’s a dream home for any family who can afford it.
Teresa Giudice wants a “fresh start”
Despite what fans may think, Teresa is not hard up for cash. She first shared her desire to sell the home she once shared with Joe. In her confessional on RHONJ, she admitted that she needed a “fresh start.” Still, it’s hard since they shared so many memories together.
“It’s hard for me to sell the house,” Teresa explained to the camera. “[My ex-husband] Joe and I built the house together; we raised our four daughters in that home. I am ready for a new beginning. I’m looking for a fresh start.”
