Zach And Whitney Bates Request Prayers For Family Member In Septic Shock In ICU
Bringing Up Bates stars Zach and Whitney Bates have some sad news to share with fans. Unfortunately, one of their family members is currently in septic shock in the ICU. So, they are asking fans to support them during this time. Read on to get a full update.
The couple took to their shared social media pages to let fans know what’s going on and ask for prayers. This is a sad and scary time for the Bates family, but they feel fortunate to get lots of love and support from their fans right now. Earlier this year, the couple’s baby boy, Jadon, spent some time in the NICU. When the family has gone through hard times like that, fans have rallied around them. Now, someone else needs fans’ prayers.
Zach & Whitney Bates share a sad family update.
In a new Instagram post on Friday afternoon, Zach and Whitney wrote, “Im begging all of you, if you can, to please please say a pray for my sweet daddy. He had a procedure last week and there ended up being some complications.”
They then revealed gave an update on how he’s doing now. They wrote:
“He came back to the hospital Wednesday night. He is still in ICU and now in septic shock. They have him on a ventilator and dialysis. His levels are just not getting where they need to be and his body is not responding to the dialysis as well as they’d hoped. His major organs are beginning to shut down and be greatly affected. He needs a miracle. I’ve never known a better man that loved the Lord more. My daddy loves Jesus more than life itself. Please please pray that God’s will be done and he has mercy on my daddy. Love you all. And thank you to each and everyone that has already called or text or came by.. We love you. Xx 🤍”
Based on the picture, it looks like Whitney’s adoptive father, Johnny Owens, or her biological dad, J.C. Perkins is in the hospital. As far as we know, Gil Bates is totally healthy and the post appears to be written by Whitney about one of her fathers.
Hopefully, everything will end up being okay for Whitney’s dad. Fans, friends, and family are filling the comments section with supportive messages and promising to pray for him.
