‘Bringing Up Bates’ Sisters Confirm Feud? See Statement
For months, Bringing Up Bates fans have been speculating that some of the sisters are feuding with each other. They have picked up on patterns, such as certain family members skipping events or not interacting with one another on social media. However, none of these rumored feuds have ever been confirmed by the family. Plus, it’s hard to know what goes on in their real lives after only seeing them on social media for a little while each day or week. It only shows a glimpse of their lives.
Now, the Bates sisters are parting ways. Erin Paine has stepped away from the Bates’ Sisters Boutique she runs with Carlin Stewart and Whitney Bates. This news comes as a surprise, but fans aren’t shocked to learn that there could be some distance between the sisters. Now, Whitney and Carlin have shared a statement, seemingly confirming that the sisters aren’t on the best terms.
Bringing Up Bates sisters issue a statement.
On the Bates’ Sisters Boutique Instagram page, the sisters penned a statement, announcing Erin’s departure from the business. They wrote, “These past few years have been an absolutely amazing venture for the three of us. We have shared a goal to have a company together that would meet needs and also be a bright spot and a ministry in people’s lives. It has been a lot of work, sometimes overwhelming, but it has been a blessing to be able to spend time working together in a family business, watching our dream grow and sharing this vision together.”
The sisters continued, “Over the last few months, God has been leading Erin and Chad to focus on some new ministry and entrepreneurship ideas, along with managing the Paine Construction business and their precious family! So with sad hearts, Bates Sisters Boutique is losing a special asset and inspiration. We are excited to watch what God has in store for Bates Sisters Boutique, as well as for Erin and Chad. Erin and Chad are taking time to expand their website, https://www.chadanderin.com/ which currently sells Erin’s piano CD’s.”
They also revealed that Kelly Bates, their mother, will be helping out at the boutique in Erin’s absence. You can read the full statement here.

I believe Erin left to concentrate on her and Chads ministry and the construction business. I don’t believe for one minute that there was a feud.
I think it’s perfectly possible that Erin and Chad want to have their own business. There doesn’t necessarily have to be a feud for this to happen. I certainly hope not. The Bates should all value what they have together as a wonderful family.
The statements from Carlin and Whitney say nothing about a feud. They state that God is leading Erin and Chad in a different direction, and apparently they are listening to the inspiration they are being given. I respect them for it. Please don’t try to stir up rumors that could hurt this dear family.
Praying for all of them. Hoping all of the Bates are doing well and God is with all of them. Love their show but no longer see it after it went to stream. Miss watching them.
I don’t believe there is a feud but more an emphasis on different values. I feel Carlin and Whitney are more into fame/ money than Erin is. And Chad is ridiculously talented and has always Saud he’d love to expand on those talents. My question is where is Tori in all of this? We very rarely see or hear about her.
