Sister Wives star Kody Brown is on Cameo. This comes amid the Brown family’s ongoing financial struggles. A few months ago, Kody decided to join the social media platform in an effort to make some cool cash. Fans want to know how much he charges for personalized videos.
His latest move is interesting considering that he’s relatively private on social media. It’s rare for him to post on Instagram. Still, he doesn’t mind hamming it up for the cameras, as long as it doesn’t focus too much on his life. Kody gets enough of that with his family’s reality show.
Sister Wives star uses his new hustle to shade ex-wife
Kody Brown threw shade at his former wife Christine Brown. A fan paid for one of his personalized messages on Cameo. That person wanted relationship advice. The reality star couldn’t wait to throw a dig at Christine, who announced their divorce earlier this month.
“Best friends are great … Don’t marry your best friend,” Kody Brown laughed as he said in a clip obtained by Life & Style, “None of my business I realize.”
Then, he composed himself and shared what has worked in his relationships. He revealed that both chemistry and compatibility are important traits to seek in a partner. Kody advised the fan to marry their soulmate, rather than their best friend. According to the TLC star, it’s important to have a passionate relationship with someone who makes you feel like yourself.
“I do recommend you find a soulmate. I do recommend that you find real passion,” Kody continued. “Somebody who wants to make you dance the dervish, that makes you feel vibrantly alive. That type of thing. Best friends are great, but I wouldn’t marry my best friend. Even though, in my marriage, I can be married to my best friend and have a lot of passion in that marriage.”
The reason why Kody joined Cameo was simple. He finally had a quiet place in the home where he could get away and interact with fans. It’s something he wanted to try but he could never focus. Not that he has the perfect spot to film videos, he can get serious about his side hustle.
How much does Kody Brown charge for personalized messages?
Sister Wives fans can get a personalized Cameo message from Kody Brown for $99. He also charges $420 for engaging messages for businesses. On his Cameo page, Kody says he’s willing to do a Cameo for fans and their friends. He will do something special or sweet like a birthday message.
The reality star joked that he won’t do “fifth-way requests,” poking fun at his wives. Other than that, he’s “willing to play the game.” He currently has 12 reviews on his Cameo page. All of them are five-star reviews with fans saying how happy they are with their messages.
Last month, reports surfaced that the Brown family owes thousands of dollars in property taxes. Kody and his wives haven’t even built their new homes on Coyote Pass yet. It’s no wonder why he’s been looking for a new side hustle or two. Even his wives sell jewelry and clothes on social media.
