‘Dancing With The Stars’ Winner Revealed — See Who It Is!
We have a new Mirrorball Trophy champion! After a great season and lots of spectacular routines, we finally crowned a new Dancing With The Stars winner.
If you tuned into the finale tonight, were you surprised at all? If you missed the finale, keep reading to see how the night played out and who took home the trophy!
DWTS Season 30 had an excellent ending to a milestone season
When the night kicked off, we saw a really spectacular routine to BTS’s song “Dynamite” featuring all the pros and contestants that competed on DWTS this year. It was great to see some old faces we saw over the past several weeks.
Fans loved watching the four finalists perform their routines — as well as some of the special guest performances. DWTS Season 30 contestants Jimmie Allen and Mel C gave musical performances in between dance numbers. We got to see a great routine from the pros as well.
But at the end of the night, fans crowned a new Dancing With The Stars winner. It was none other than Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach! The pair worked hard all season long and showed strength and improvement week after week. Did you vote for them?
Here’s the final ranking:
- Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach — 1st place
- JoJo Siwa and Jenna Johnson — 2nd place
- Cody Rigsby and Cheryl Burke — 3rd place
- Amanda Kloots and Alan Bersten — 4th place
This was only Daniella’s second season as a pro dancer. Last year, she teamed up with rapper Nelly and they came in 3rd place. But it’s hardly a surprise that the two were the champions this year. Fans fell in love with their underdog story and the fact that an NBA player never made it this far in the competition before.
Castmates and fans alike believe that the two really deserve it. Who would have thought that they would make it this far when they made their debut performance at the beginning of the season?
The finale goes on with one key switch-up
Derek Hough tested positive for COVID-19 the day after the semifinals and unfortunately was not able to attend the finale in person. However, his sister Julianne was more than happy to fill in. We haven’t seen her in the ballroom since 2017, so many fans felt really excited to have her back.
But Derek couldn’t totally sit out the end of this milestone season. The pro-turned-judge still made a virtual appearance during the DWTS season finale to wish the final four well. All signs indicate that he’s healing well and will be back performing his Vegas shows in no time at all.
Dancing With The Stars may be over for the year, but there is still time to get your tickets for the tour! You can catch your favorite dancers this winter when they travel across America and give captivating performances.
Be sure to let us know if you’ll be attending! Until then, keep checking back with us for the latest Dancing With The Stars news. We’ll be here to keep you filled in!
