Jedidiah Duggar & Wife Katey Flee Arkansas As Josh’s Trial Approaches
Jedidiah Duggar and his wife, Katey Nakatsu, have left the state of Arkansas right before Josh’s trial happens. This is a very busy and stressful time for the family. So, it makes sense that some members of the family might have wanted to get away for a bit.
As we’ve reported, Josh is currently awaiting his trial in his child pornography case. The eldest Duggar child was arrested in the spring for receiving and possessing child pornography. He’s maintained his innocence and declined multiple plea deals. So, he will go to trial on November 30.
Amid the scandal, the Duggars have been staying out of the public eye, and some have even traveled across the country to get a little break from the drama. So, Jedidiah and Katey had a similar idea and decided to take a break too.

On Katey’s brother Reed’s Instagram page, he shared a story. In the photo, he’s standing beside Jedidiah and Katey, as well as another Nakatsu sister. Reed captions the photo, “Family meeting in LA.” While Jedidiah and Katey live in Arkansas with most of the Duggars, Reed calls Los Angeles home.
It looks like the family is in a downtown area, enjoying some quality time together. For the first time since announcing her pregnancy, Katey is showing off her baby bump. As we reported, the two shared the exciting news in September after getting hitched in April.
Unfortunately, this is the only picture shared from the sibling reunion. So, it’s unclear what else Jedidiah and Katey did in Los Angeles. As fans know, Jedidiah’s sister, Jinger Vuolo, lives in LA with her family. Jinger and her husband Jeremy share two young daughters, Felicity, 3, and Evangeline, 1. It’s possible they had a chance to connect while the couple was in the area.
Because Jedidiah and Katey aren’t active on social media, they haven’t shared any photos from their little trip either. From the one photo shared online, it looks like they are enjoying catching up with Reed and exploring Los Angeles.
