Lauren Bushnell Lane Reveals If Son Will Watch Ben Higgins Season Of ‘The Bachelor’
Lauren Bushnell Lane is sharing with fans her thoughts on allowing her son Dutton to watch her season of The Bachelor. The news comes as Ben Higgins walks down the aisle. He is marrying Jessica Clarke in Nashville, Tennessee. Recall, Lauren got engaged to Ben on his season finale of the hit reality show. The two lived together and tried to make things work. However, it wasn’t meant to be and both have moved on and found happiness and love. So, will she let her son watch this season of The Bachelor someday?

Lauren Bushnell was engaged and living with Ben Higgins at one point in time. Then, they decided they were better apart and broke up. Lauren met and married country singer Chris Lane. However, her time on The Bachelor was an important part of her life. She and Ben even had their reality show, Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After? Ben and Lauren broke up in May 2017. So, will she allow her son Dutton to watch her season someday?
US Weekly shared what Lauren had to say about letting Dutton watch when he’s older. Lauren said she will “maybe” allow her son to watch the show. She continued saying, “We don’t really watch it a ton, although we did watch last night’s episode of The Bachelorette.” Lauren continued, “I feel like I’ll let him watch it when he’s age-appropriate, if he wants to.”
Lauren admits she and Chris are planning to limit screen time in general when it comes to their son. She said, “One of my friends said the other day: ‘Screen time is me time.’ So I’ll probably do some.” She went on to explain, “But Chris and I … grew up, like, playing outside with friends, and I want to make sure that he gets outside, uses his imagination and isn’t glued in front of the screen. I think it will be a balance for sure.”

After breaking up with Ben Higgins, Lauren went on to meet and fall in love with Chris Lane. The wed in October 2019. They welcomed their son Dutton this past June. Their five-month-old son brings them tons of joy.
She said on Instagram recently, “We are loving this stage and all the smiles. Dutton is sweet, cuddly, strong willed, curious and loves reading books and listening to music. We just had our check-up and we are so thankful to have a healthy baby! A very tall (99th percentile to be exact, like how?) healthy baby. Forgot what life was like without you, Dutty boy!”
She also shared some dos and don’ts of parenting with fans. Lauren said now that Dutton is a little bigger and she’s more confident, she doesn’t always just rush in if he’s crying. Lauren is more willing to let him fuss it out if she knows he’s okay, not hungry, and not wet.
She also revealed she feels safer with Dutton in his crib and not co-sleeping with him.
