‘Bringing Up Bates’: Layla Prepares Carlin For Having ‘Two Little Monsters’
Bringing Up Bates star Carlin Stewart is getting a glimpse into what her life will look like with “two little monsters.” The UPtv star shared a hilarious video of her 22-month-old daughter, Layla. So, what did Layla do that made her mom call her a “monster,” and what does Carlin think of the idea of having two little ones running around?
For those who don’t know, Carlin and her husband, Evan, are expecting their second baby in the spring. The couple is thrilled and can’t wait for Layla to be a big sister. Unfortunately, her pregnancy hasn’t been easy so far, but she seems to be in good hands with a supportive medical team.
As Carlin and Evan prepare to welcome their second baby to the world, Layla is also helping them get some good practice by getting into lots of trouble. On Tuesday, Carlin shared a new Instagram Reel of her daughter getting into her lipstick. The mom writes, “Ok moms, raise your 🙋🏼♀️‘s if this has happened to you too 😂 Also…cheers to having two little monsters running around next year 🥳”
Layla is admiring her job well done in the mirror as her mom walks in and catches her in action. She seems to be pretty proud of herself for pulling this off.

In the comments section of Carlin’s latest post, fans are commenting on how hilarious the toddler is. Many of them can relate with Carlin because their own kids did the same thing growing up. One fan writes, “She does the other side too 🤣 How can you stay mad when they’re that cute?!” Carlin’s sister-in-law Whitney Bates comments, “This happens to me wayyyy too often haha.” Other parents are agreeing in the comments section too.
One fan gave Carlin a piece of advice, revealing that they bought their toddler a set of makeup brushes. Carlin acted quickly and bought Layla some makeup brushes already so she would have something to play with without making a huge mess.
