Below Deck Mediterranean Season 6 is done. Yet, the aftermath of the dramatic season carries on. Lloyd Spencer recently shared that he forgave one of his crew members. The deckhand went through his share of challenges while working on the yacht. He wasn’t sure whether his new crew would be accepting of his sexuality since his last boss was horrible.

When he came out to his crew, they accepted him with open arms. It was a touching moment and Lloyd was overcome with emotion. Later on, in the season, he suffered a panic attack. He was worried whether the future charter would be as accepting as this crew has been to him.

Who did Lloyd Spencer forgive?

The Below Deck Med star revealed that he forgave one of his crew members. As fans know, he went head-to-head with stew Lexi Wilson earlier in the season. She came up to him and pushed his head into her breasts. That traumatic moment was just one in a series of unfortunate events that happened that night.

The crew went out to eat for dinner. Some of them had too much to drink, including Lexi herself. Suddenly, they were in the hot tub arguing. Lexi bragged that she came from wealth and she couldn’t stop talking about it.

She claimed that she lived in an $8,000 per month apartment. That’s when she lashed out at the exterior team and acted as if she was better than them. Yet, her lewd behavior revealed that she was no better than anyone. In an interview with Decider, Lloyd said that he ultimately forgave her for what happened that night.

“If I’m honest, when I watched it, I was thinking, ‘God, I wouldn’t want to be Lexi watching this back,” Lloyd Spencer told the publication, as quoted by Express.co.uk. “Feeling bad for her, having to witness [that]. And if it had been that one time, we did forgive him, but unfortunately, it did continue.”

He admitted that the scene was “hard” to watch. He had “pretty mixed feelings” as to what happened. That moment was just many moments that Lexi had with her crew. The drama surrounding Lexi eventually led to her firing.

What does the Below Deck Med alum think?

Lexi Wilson has a different story to tell. She blames the producers for making her look like the villain of the season. Earlier this month, she talked to Bravo’s The Daily Dish to share her thoughts on the exchange with Lloyd Spencer. She claims that it was “definitely a misunderstanding.”

In fact, Lexi said she “liked everyone” in the crew. The Miss Bahamas admitted that alcohol played a role in that explosive argument with her crew. Lexi said she “looked more frustrated” because of how much she drank during dinner. Lexi only said that “there was just so much going on” and tensions were high between her and boatswain Malia White.

Below Deck Mediterranean is currently on hiatus. Below Deck Season 9 airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
