Jana Duggar Relationship Rumors Are Finally Put To Rest, Here’s Why
For years, Counting On fans have seen rumors about Jana Duggar being in various relationships. The 31-year-old Duggar daughter is doing things differently from her younger siblings. Many of the Duggar kids have gotten married in their early twenties.
Most recently, Jana was linked to Stephen Wissmann from Nebraska. The Duggars revealed that they have been friends with the Wissmanns for years, so this relationship doesn’t seem too far off.
However, nothing ever came from the rumors about the two of them. They have seemingly disappeared, and there may be a good explanation for that.
As we reported, Jeremiah Duggar recently announced he is in a relationship with Hannah Wissmann, Stephen’s sister. So, Duggar fans were onto something when speculating about a Wissmann-Duggar courtship. Does this mean that there’s no chance Stephen and Jana are together, though?
Did Jana Duggar and Stephen Wissmann break up?
Because it’s been so long since we have seen Jana and Stephen together, fans are wondering what happened. Some fans think that the rumored couple could have split around the time that Jana made some drastic changes to her appearance. Over the summer, she went blonde and began wearing more stylish clothing. Others thought all of these changes were a sign that she secretly got married and that her husband was allowing her to make these changes.
However, now it seems possible that Jana and Stephen were never dating after all. With the news of Jeremiah’s courtship, fans are discussing the possibility that Jana simply spent time with Stephen because she was the chaperone for Hannah and Jeremiah. If Jeremiah wanted to see Hannah in Nebraska and needed a chaperone, Jana might have volunteered to tag along.
Of course, it’s still possible that Jana and Stephen are courting. But the news of Jeremiah’s courtship and the possibility of her being nothing more than a chaperone has silenced many of the rumors. Fans will have to wait and see what happens with Jana’s relationships going forward. For now, the family’s followers are celebrating Jeremiah’s relationship and suspect a proposal will come soon.
