Meri Brown Wishes Special 100th Birthday For Family Member
Sister Wives star, Meri Brown took the time to pen a heartfelt post to her followers on Sunday. The reality tv star spent time with loved ones yesterday in honor of a very special person in their life. Read on to find out what the special gathering was all about.
Celebrating A Legacy
On Sunday, Sister Wives cast member, Meri Brown wished her fans a “Happy Haloween,” in her latest Instagram post. The TLC personality posted a photo of herself standing in front of the B&B that she runs. The home also happens to be the childhood home of her late grandmother. The celeb began running the B&B shortly after her mother passed away earlier this year.
Meri tells fans that she and her family gathered together Sunday in honor of her late Grandmother. Halloween marked what would have been the matriarch’s 100th birthday.
While Meri Brown’s beloved family member is no longer here with her, she spent the day cherishing her memory. According to Meri, her clan enjoyed spending quality time together, reminiscing, and sharing favorite memories about Grandma. They also shared a meal that the family prepared together, consisting of some of Grandma’s favorite foods.
Meri Brown Remembers Her Grandma’s Spirit
After sharing the details of her family’s celebration, Meri took a moment to remember her Grandmother. She tells fans that Grandma was a very special woman who was well known and loved in her community. The TLC reality star recounts her Grandmother being a loving and selfless individual who would help anyone she could. Meri Brown also remembers her Grandma living her life “in a constant state of gratitude,” and someone she wanted to be like as she got older.
Keeping Grandma Alive
Kody Brown’s first wife says that Grandma passed on quite some time ago, but the beloved family member remains a powerful driving force in their unit. Meri reveals that Grandma is very much alive for them in their hearts, minds, and memories. She says that they hope to continue to honor her memory and continue on her beautiful legacy by “living, giving and loving the way she always did.” In addition to the sunny photo of Meri standing in front of her B&B, was a picture of her late grandmother. The picture hangs on the wall inside the building.
Fans who saw the post thought that Meri was looking happier than they had ever seen her. Many commented on the post, wishing Meri’s Grandma a “Happy Birthday in Heaven.” Others commented on the fact that they thought Meri looked a lot like her. Judging by how much she seems to have really loved her Grandmother, she surely must have taken that as an amazing compliment.
