Joy-Anna Forsyth’s Brother-In-Law’s Shocking Criminal History Surfaces
Some surprising information about one of Joy-Anna Forsyth‘s relatives has recently surfaced. Recently, Joy-Anna’s brother Josh Duggar has been in the headlines for his child pornography scandal. But now, details of Joy-Anna’s brother-in-law’s criminal record have resurfaced. So, what exactly happened, and what do we know? Read on to find out.
Joy-Anna Forsyth’s In-Laws
For those who may not know, Joy-Anna Duggar is married to Austin Forsyth. Together, the couple has two kids, Gideon, 3, and Evelyn, 1.
Austin’s parents are Terry and Roxanne. He has a sister, Meagan, as well as a half-brother, Brandon, and a half-sister, Rachael. Brandon is from Terry’s first marriage, and he’s the one who has a disturbing criminal record.
What Is Brandon Forsyth’s Criminal History?
According to court papers obtained by Radar Online, Brandon was arrested for a bomb threat. The papers read:
“On or about May 29, 2010 in Bowie County, Texas, defendant, through the use of the telephone, made a threat to kill, injure, and to intimidate the occupants of the Health South Rehabilitation hospital by means of an explosive. Defendant did intentionally convey false and misleading information. He used the telephone to make a bomb threat to Health South Rehabilitation Hospital, under circumstances where such information may reasonably have been believed, that indicated that an activity had taken, was taking, and would take place.”
The documents also reveal that he pled guilty on October 26, 2010, resulting in 20 months of prison time. In addition, he received three years of supervised release.
In a new Instagram post, Katie Joy of Without a Crystal Ball shares more. She points out that Terry is working hard to keep his family safe from Brandon. However, she feels that Jim Bob Duggar should do the same with his kids after Josh’s recent arrest. She writes, “sources provided details about Terry’s decision to separate Brandon from his siblings. This was apparently something Jim Bob was unwilling to do with Josh. Which caused a rift between Terry & Jim Bob for years. Terry is not perfect. But he at least tried to keep his kids safe according to multiple sources.”

Not a surprise at all. Brandon spent some time in a juvenile facility for molesting some of his younger family members as well, so it makes sense that Terry would want to keep him separated from the rest of the family.
