Jinger Vuolo Rebels AGAIN Against Childhood Traditions
Over the years, fans have witnessed several of the Duggar kids, including Jinger Vuolo, abandon their parents’ strict beliefs. Fans know that Jinger now wears pants instead of skirts, shows off her shoulders in tank tops, and more. She doesn’t appear to be following her family’s “buy used and save the difference” motto when it comes to shopping, either.
Jinger and her husband, Jeremy, are enjoying their lives in Los Angeles, California. Though they still appear to be conservative Christians, fans are glad to see that Jinger is breaking away from her parents’ control and discovering her own beliefs.
Now, in a new Halloween photo, she revealed that she’s taken her rebellion one step further.
What Do The Duggars Say About Halloween?
Christians have mixed views on Halloween. Some think religious people shouldn’t be celebrating it, while others think that kids dressing up and trick-or-treating is harmless. Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar have strong opinions about Halloween, but they still partake in fall-themed activities. However, trick-or-treating is not allowed.
In an old blog post, Michelle wrote, “While we do go to pumpkin patches and corn mazes, we don’t do the Halloween thing. From the beginning of our marriage, we just kind of felt like we didn’t want to celebrate that holiday. But we enjoy the harvest celebration. Our church fellowship has had different celebrations through the years that we’ve been a part of, ones where the children can play games and receive candy and toys and do all kinds of fun things, like a cake walk.”
Jinger Vuolo Defies Parents In Recent Photo
On her Instagram stories, Jinger reposted one of her friend’s social media posts. In one of the photos, both Jinger and Jeremy can be seen all decked out in Winnie the Pooh-themed costumes. Jinger is dressed as Tigger, while Jeremy is Winnie the Pooh. In the group photo, Jinger is in the front on the left-hand side. She’s holding the couple’s 11-month-old daughter, Evangeline. Jeremy can be seen in the back of the photo.
Based on Michelle’s blog post about the holiday, it’s safe to say that she wouldn’t approve of her daughter’s decision to celebrate Halloween with a costume party.
So, are you surprised to see Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo in Halloween costumes? Or did you expect this from them as they’ve moved away from many of the Duggar family’s beliefs? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
