Single Dad Rumored To Be Second ‘Bachelor’ In 2022
Rumors are flying around in Bachelor Nation. It was confirmed by Reality Steve this week that there will be not one but two seasons of The Bachelor in 2022. Currently, the first 2022 season is being filmed. That lead has already been confirmed as Clayton Echard. While nothing has been confirmed, there is a name being thrown around as the second lead of 2022. Who is it?

So, with two seasons of The Bachelor reportedly coming in 2022, rumors are going to fly about who the second lead could be. Reality Steve went live on Instagram Friday to share those rumors. Dave Neal has also shared the rumors on his YouTube channel. If the rumors are true there will be a lot of happy fans in Bachelor Nation.
According to the reports, it’s being speculated that one popular single dad could be getting the job. Who is it? The single dad is none other than Michael Allio. He won the hearts of many during Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette. In fact, many had hoped to see him in the upcoming season of The Bachelor. However, Michael was not cast. Instead, producers went with Clayton Echard whom nobody had even heard of.
Again, there are still four months until the second season of the show will begin filming. According to Steve, he’s hearing that women are already being cast and filming should begin around the third week of February. So, knowing how often producers on The Bachelor change their minds, it’s possible Michael could be cast aside down the road.
It’s also being rumored that The Bachelor is working to accommodate Michael Allio to be the lead. It’s being speculated that a deal is being worked out to allow him to film the season in Ohio. This would be so he could remain close to his young son James.

Michael Allio isn’t the only rumored lead for the second season of The Bachelor. According to deuxmoi, another former contestant is being considered for the role. The shared message didn’t reveal a name. However, it said the rumored lead is going through a breakup and the season would be similar to Nick Viall. This all sounds like Blake Moynes could be in the running for the job.
