Duggar Cousin Amy King Fires Shots At Family In ‘Childhood Trauma’ Post
Duggar cousin Amy King is often hopping online to share subtle (and not-so-subtle) messages about her famous family. She’s spoken out about them many times. Though she may not explicitly include their names, fans and critics are convinced that she’s talking about the Duggars.
Recently, Amy has been posting photos and tweets that look to be directed toward Anna Duggar. For those who don’t know, Anna’s husband Josh, who is Amy’s cousin, was arrested in the spring for possessing child pornography. Amy has hinted that Anna should pack her bags and leave Josh. She’s also posted about protecting her toddler son because she doesn’t know who’s looking at shirtless photos of him. Fans assume this was directed at Josh as well and that his charges are making her more aware of what could be happening online.
Now, Amy is back with another post that’s seemingly directed at the Duggar family. What did she say this time?
Duggar cousin Amy King talks about childhood trauma.
In an Instagram story post on Thursday, Amy shared a quote that reads, “If you do not address your childhood traumas, then your romantic relationships will.”
For years, some fans and critics of the Duggar family have thought that the kids have some type of trauma from being raised in such a strict environment. Some think that their religion, the IBLP (Institute of Basic Life Principles) is a cult. So, it would make sense if Amy was directing this toward the Duggar kids.
It’s also possible that Amy’s post is about her own life, though she was raised differently from her famous cousins. It’s unclear what exactly happened, but it’s possible that she experienced trauma as well. She also could have been affected by the way her uncle Jim Bob and aunt Michelle raised their children. She used to appear on episodes of the family’s TLC shows and was somewhat close to her cousins.
As mentioned, Amy tends to keep these posts fairly subtle. So, she doesn’t tag members of her family in captions or specifically write their names. Still, fans and critics agree that this post is directed toward the Duggars in some way.
So, do you think that Amy King is shading the Duggar family again? Or do you think there could be another explanation for this post? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
