Bravo launched an internal investigation of RHONY. Season 13 continues to make news. The network looked into the complaints of racism filed during that season. New cast member Eboni K. Williams filed some of those complaints against her co-star Ramona Singer.

Fans already accused Ramona of racism throughout the season. They’ve been calling for Bravo to fire her from the show. However, it put them in an awkward situation since they already tapped her for The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. Eboni reportedly accused Ramona of racism just weeks before Bravo canceled the reunion.

Bravo conducted investigation

Per People, Bravo launched an internal investigation into RHONY. It all had to do with the drama between Eboni K. Williams and Ramona Singer. Both cast members and production were interviewed as part of this investigation. However, it closed after there was no proof that backed up Eboni’s claims.

People’s inside source revealed that the investigation was one of the reasons why the reunion kept getting pushed back. Then, Bravo announced that it decided to cancel the Season 13 reunion. At first, it was assumed that Ramona was the cause of the RHONY reunion. She refused to film with the rest of the case in fear of facing questions pertaining to racism.

This revelation comes after three cast members snubbed Eboni at an event. Ramona, Luann de Lesseps, and Leah McSweeney refused to enter the same room as her. All of them were in attendance for the launch of Dave Quinn’s new book, Not All Diamonds and Rosé. The Page Six report claimed they made a “pact” that they would leave once Eboni entered.

They blame her for the decline in ratings. It’s shocking to learn that Leah is suddenly not friends with Eboni. It’s unclear what happened between the two. What’s also shocking is that the cast members are back on good terms with Ramona despite the drama she caused last season.

Is Eboni causing trouble for RHONY?

Eboni K. Williams became the first Black Housewife in the franchise. This came amid the cries that viewers wanted a more diverse cast for RHONY. Even Leah McSweeney agreed with the sentiments at the time. What fans didn’t want wasn’t the constant conversations surrounding race and politics that took place on the show.

Eboni and Ramona clashed for most of the season. They often feuded when it came to those difficult topics. There were mixed reactions to the discussions on the reality series. Bravo supported Eboni and those conversations throughout the season.

However, Eboni’s claims against Ramona weren’t the only ones made against her. Eboni had to make a complaint after learning that a crew member did the same thing and noticed no change in her behavior. What are your thoughts on Bravo’s investigation into RHONY? Sound off below in the comments.
