Tiger King 2 trailer released by Netflix
The first season of the docuseries about a feud between private zoo owners became a huge success on Netflix. This was particularly due to the fact that it launched during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. Let’s face it, we were all locked-down at home, bored stiff, and along came Tiger King to take our mind off it. Fans have been waiting impatiently for the second season to drop and it won’t take long now. As recently reported, Tiger King 2 is set to debut on the streaming channel on November 17, 2021.
As Netflix released the trailer on Wednesday, it is clear that the second season returns to the “murder, mayhem and madness” that characterized the first season. Viewers get to see the wealth behind private zoos in Florida and Oklahoma, as well as guns and, naturally, tigers.
What to expect from the second season?
According to Netflix, Tiger King 2 will reportedly examine how “sudden fame and unwanted attention from the authorities turns up the heat and unearths some stunning revelations.” It will cover the amazing wealth accumulated by the private zoos, particularly in the wake of the series’ revelations.
The trailer included below, includes a voiceover from an interview with Maldonado-Passage from prison. It also hints at a further investigation into the 1997 disappearance of Carole Baskin’s late husband, Don Lewis.
