Duggar Fans Fear Jessa Seewald Will ‘Fail’ Her Kids By Homeschooling
Duggar fans have begun expressing concern for Jessa and Ben Seewald’s kids after she shared a few updates about their homeschool days. The mom of four is now under fire, as fans fear she will “fail” her children. So, what’s going on, and what are fans so concerned about?
Jessa is the mom of Spurgeon, 5, Henry, 4, Ivy, 2, and Fern, 3 months. Right now, Jessa is mostly focusing on homeschooling Spurgeon, but Henry is learning how to read too.
Jessa Seewald Shares Homeschooling Advice
On social media, Jessa has shared a video and photo to give fans a glimpse into her life as a homeschooling mom of four. In a YouTube video, she walked viewers through a day in her life. She also shared a photo of Spurgeon sitting at a desk while his siblings keep him company. She describes Ivy and Henry as “big brother’s fan club.”
In response to her posts, fans have asked questions about homeschooling, and she has happily shared some advice. She revealed the curriculum her family uses, as well.
Duggar Fans Worry About Homeschool Curriculum And Routine
On Facebook, Duggar fans are discussing Jessa’s recent post about homeschooling her kids. And they are worried that she’s repeating the same education her parents gave her growing up. Fans don’t think Jessa and her siblings had a great education, and they don’t think she knows anything different.
In the video and photo that Jessa has shared, Spurgeon is attempting to work while his siblings are hanging out near him. Fans are concerned that he isn’t able to focus on his work because of this. One Facebook user writes, “I’m NOT knocking homeschooling. I’m knocking the Duggars’ homeschooling. Jim Bob and Michelle educationally failed their kids. Now their kids are going to fail their children.”
Someone else adds, “I have thought the same thing. He never gets to concentrate on his work with the constant interruptions from his siblings.”
Others are sharing their own personal experiences with ACE, the curriculum that Jessa uses. One calls it “awful.”
However, it doesn’t seem like Jessa is going to change her mind about homeschooling her kids. She was homeschooled, and many of her siblings are homeschooling their kids too.
So, are you worried that Jessa Seewald will “fail” her kids by homeschooling them? Do you think the Duggar family knows what they’re doing when it comes to homeschooling? Let us know in the comments below.

I think it’s great that Jessa is homeschooling her kids. Maybe with more parental guidance and teaching there will be less street gangs and violence. How can we expect a teacher with 30 children at a time to take time to give each child the attention they need. Some people blame the school for their child’s bad behavior but it’s the parents fault. I say it’s the best gift a parent can give their child is an education and love and Jesse and Ben would give both.
