Daniella Karagach And Iman Shumpert Dish On Getting Their First 10s
Talk about a spectacular performance! Dancing With The Stars really had some intense routines during Horror Night, but hardly anyone suspected to see what Daniella Karagach and Iman Shumpert had in store.
Their Contemporary routine inspired by the film US really shocked viewers and judges alike. So much so that all four judges happily gave the couple a perfect score.

Daniella Karagach and Iman Shumpert easily pulled off a perfect score for the piece
ET managed to catch up with the pair after their electrifying performance.
“To finally get a chance at something so challenging, it feels like a huge accomplishment,” Iman told the publication. “I’m just really impressed she had the bravery to come up with that dance.”
Many fans agree. Several believe that the performance may even earn Daniella an Emmy nomination. The routine featured fearless acrobatics, which involved Daniella climbing up and standing on Iman’s shoulders. He even twirled her around by her ankles at one point.
But according to Iman, he horses around with his daughters a lot, so some of those moves came naturally.
“A lot of that stuff we kind of already do,” Iman said about his older daughter, who is five-year-old. “Probably not [swinging] her by the feet that much, but the standing on the shoulders and stuff.”
This wasn’t a performance that many people saw coming. Could Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach actually end up taking home the Mirrorball Trophy this year?
Anything is possible on Dancing With The Stars
This year, many DWTS fans predicted that Mel C and Gleb Savchenko would make it to the finale. However, they’re already gone. They finished in 11th place out of 15 couples. This just goes to prove that anything is possible when it comes to Dancing With The Stars.
We have nine couples left as we head into week seven. Iman and Daniella continue to improve week after week. At this rate, it’s increasingly likely that we will see them in the finale.
However, they’ve got some pretty stiff competition. JoJo Siwa and Jenna Johnson are expected to finish first this year, but it’s ultimately up to fan votes. If Daniella Karagach can keep choreographing routines like that, the Mirrorball Trophy may belong to her and Iman.
Who would you like to see take home the Mirrorball Trophy at the end of the season? If you want Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach to win, keep voting! Next week is Queen Night and we can expect the remaining nine couples to compete to Queen’s greatest hits. We’ll keep you updated with the setlist as soon as we know.
