Two Seasons Of ‘The Bachelor’ In 2022? Get All The Details
Bachelor Nation saw an interesting 2021. The pandemic threw schedules off and seasons were filming and airing slightly differently. This year there were two seasons of The Bachelorette. Now, rumor has it that this may flip flop and The Bachelor will air two seasons in 2022. What is known at this point?
Will there really be two seasons of The Bachelor in 2022?
Reality Steve is dishing out some dirt on what is going on with The Bachelor franchise. He first went to social media to share that he’d been hearing some dirt that perhaps The Bachelor would be airing not one but two seasons in 2022. Later Tuesday, Steve went to Twitter to confirm the rumors. Yes, it’s reportedly true. Fans can expect to see two journeys on the hot dating show.
What exactly is known? Well, unfortunately not much is known just yet. Steve reported that women are already being contacted and cast as potential contestants for the upcoming season. There is no word on who the new lead could be. Steve was quick to point out that ABC hasn’t even officially announced Clayton Echard as The Bachelor and his season is rapidly getting close to finishing filming. So, who production may choose is anyone’s guess. However, rumors are already beginning to circulate in Bachelor Nation.
According to Reality Steve, the second round of The Bachelor could start filming roughly three weeks into February. This is not confirmed. However, if production goes this route, then they will most likely air the season beginning in May like they do The Bachelorette.
What does this mean for The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise?
Steve reminds fans he does not 100% have the answers as this is all new information. However, he said the rumors he has been hearing indicate The Bachelorette will film throughout the summer such as July to September. Then, it would air like Tayshia’s season did in October through December.
As for Bachelor in Paradise, Steve knows nothing about it staying put or taking a hike. Most likely it will continue as it has in past years. BIP is a fan favorite spin-off of the beloved franchise.
(SPOILER): Confirmed what I reported this morning. There will be another Bachelor season that airs after Clayton’s season. Starts filming mid to end of February. Will air, most likely, in the Bachelorette spot which is May-July. Hearing this could be the new norm moving forward.

Steve also mentioned that he’s hearing this could possibly be the new format for the show. What this means is that The Bachelor would also have two seasons and The Bachelorette one season.
What do you think about this new format? Do you like having year-round seasons of The Bachelor franchise?
