Cynthia Bailey Finally Speaks Out About Exit From ‘RHOA’
A few weeks back, the leading star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and the popular American model, Cynthia Bailey had already left her fans disheartened with her announcement of leaving the popular show. Weeks later, she finally disclosed why she felt it’s the right time to make this big move. She further added that the decision itself hasn’t seeped in yet that she will not be returning to the series now.
Marriage on the priority for Cynthia Bailey
Cynthia Bailey, while interviewing with US Weekly, revealed her plans of focusing more on her marriage to Mike Hill. The model intends to spend greater time with Mike in Los Angeles, while her daughter is based out of West Coast. The RHOA star further opened up saying that “Now that I just celebrated my first anniversary, getting married is part one, staying married is part two. You have to be with your husband sometimes!”
In an Instagram post recently, Cynthia posted a pic from her anniversary celebration and mentioned “1 year [and] a lifetime to go! I love you, Mike!”
Why Season 13 is the right time for her
During the interview, the actress also answered why she felt Season 13 is the apt time to quit the show thus responding to throngs of inquisitive minds of her admirers. Well, the timing of her exit has got something to do with her nuptial. To the surprise of audiences, she added that “I got married on the show my first season [to Peter Thomas], I got married on the show my last season. It kind of was a perfect way to tie it up in a bow and just go.”
The American celebrity is all set to experience this new next chapter of her life. Surely, all her fans are happy and excited for her for this chapter.
Cynthia’s thoughts on moving on out of the show
As Cynthia Bailey revealed, the decision wasn’t easy for her and it took her a couple of years to get moving. She wants to ensure that she gives her marriage the complete attention it needs since such beautiful relations need special care and focus.
The show demanded a lot of time in filming in Atlanta. In addition, the promotion took a lot of time. This made her ponder on her priority in life amidst the pandemic. Cynthia came up to the verdict of prioritizing her marital and family.
“After going through my divorce with my ex [Peter Thomas], I’m very protective of my second marriage because, you know, I want it to work, and I want to do everything that I can to protect it and to protect Mike” are her final words while explaining her choice of this decision.
