Could Ben & Jessa Seewald Get Their Own Show After ‘Counting On’ Cancelation?
Ben and Jessa Seewald, formerly of TLC’s Counting On have fans wondering if they could eventually get their own spin-off. As fans know, the Duggar family’s show, Counting On, was canceled after Josh’s arrest this spring. Fans have been hopeful that the family will return, but it’s unclear if there is a network to give them another TV deal. Counting On viewers have thought some of the adult children could have their own shows, especially as they get older, get married, and start their own families. However, no one has gotten a show yet.
Now, fans think it seems possible that a spin-off could be in the works for Ben and Jessa’s family.
Ben and Jessa Seewald continue growing their YouTube channel.
As we’ve reported, Ben and Jessa have been pushing their YouTube channel, which is one way for them to make money. When people view their videos or watch ads, the Seewalds make money. So, by uploading videos online, they can make some decent money, especially thanks to Jessa’s 2 million Instagram followers.
As fans may know, Jessa and Ben have four kids, Spurgeon, Henry, Ivy, and Fern. Fans love seeing videos and pictures of the kids. So, a spin-off about them might do well.
Could they have a spin-off of Counting On?
On Reddit, Duggar family critics noticed that Jessa updated her Instagram bio. She used to be represented by “Jenny From the Gift Shoppe.” Several other members of the family had the same representative in their Instagram bios. Anyone who wanted interviews or wanted to work with the Duggars to promote their products would have to go through the agency to do so. Now, Jessa is working with a different agency, CEG Talent. Meanwhile, Jenny From the Gift Shoppe still represents Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo.
On Reddit, users are wondering if Jessa switched agencies in hopes of getting more brands deals or a show about her family. One user writes, “Interesting… stepping up the influencer game seems likely, but I wonder if she’s looking for her own TV show.”
Someone else chimes in, “But she’d also use a talent agent for securing public speaking, media appearances, her own show as many have said, say if she wanted to start a podcast for profit they could help with that, also help her elevate her social presence/strategy and clean up her public image. As a Duggar, that limits the kinds of brands that want to work with her. Brands are getting more and more picky about who they align themselves with.”
Someone else adds, “Trying to distance herself from other parts of the family to get back on TV strikes as a definite possibility.”
So, would you like to see Ben and Jessa Seewald get their own TLC show? Do you think it could happen, or do you think Josh’s arrest will continue to affect the family in this way? Let us know in the comments section below.

Honestly I think this would be a bad move mostly because signing any member of the Duggar family for a new TV show would be bad PR for the TV network
I would love to see a spin off. “Counting On” has been a favorite. I don’t think one siblings’ behavior is reason to cancel a show.
