Trevor Donovan Signs Deal With GAC, Starring In ‘Jingle Bell Princess’
When ex-Hallmark CEO Bill Abbott started GAC Family and GAC Living, many wondered whether some favorite stars would join him. Now it looks like Trevor Donovan fans can find him there. He has signed a special deal with the new network. He is even filming a Christmas movie.
Here are all the details.
Trevor Donovan Has Signed Significant Contract With GAC Media
According to Country Music Alley, Trevor Donovan has now signed on with a special deal with GAC Media (GAC Family and GAC Living). ‘He will both star in and executive produce original films for the network. Fans will be thrilled to know that they won’t have to wait long. Trevor’s first GAC Family movie is Jingle Bell Princess. This 12 Days of Christmas movie is part of the Great American Christmas franchise.
In addition, Trevor will be partnering with GAC Media on his anti-bullying campaign. Donovan has been working in participation with the Ad Council on nationwide anti-bullying. Moreover, back in December 2019, Trevor held his first anti-bullying assembly at Deer Lakes Middle School in Pittsburgh, PA. He will continue this message this winter.
Bill Abbott has nothing but wonderful things to say about the 90210 alum. “Trevor is a gifted actor and talented producer who I have had the pleasure of working with for more than a decade. He shared that the actor who portrayed Teddy Montgomery is pretty special as he shared, “We’re thrilled about this expanded partnership and look forward to not only making entertaining movies together, but also working hand-in-hand to shine a light on the importance of bullying prevention.”
Trevor Donovan Starring In The Very Royal Jingle Bell Princess
Trevor Donovan fans will be thrilled to know that he will be starring in a GAC Family Royal Christmas movie. Donovan, along with Merritt Patterson (The Royals, One December Night), will star in Jingle Bell Princess.
This is the age-old story of a princess and a commoner. Princess Amelia (Patterson) is in distress in Tucker, Maine. Her aircraft needs repairs before she can leave. However, the mechanics need some time to make the repairs. So, the adventurous royal decides to take a walk around a Christmas tree lot that is in close proximity to the airport. There, she encounters Harley and his faithful and adorable dog Storm.
While that is delightful, what is not-so-great is that the plane has taken off, without the Princess safely onboard. Worst of all, a major snowstorm is headed. Everyone knows about those New England snowstorms. She will be stuck for days! Sounds like Princess Amelia’s luxe Christmas with her royal family back home isn’t gonna happen this year.
However, an airline employee, Annie Cutler, takes pity on the Princess and invites her to stay with her and her stunningly handsome son, Sam (Donovan). Could a snowstorm stir up some romance? You will have to watch for yourself!
This GAC Family movie is based on the Barbara Dunlop book, His Jingle Bell Princess.
