Jim Bob & Michelle Duggar’s Kids Taken Under Hilary Spivey’s Wing Again
Are Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar losing control and letting Hilary Spivey take over? For those who don’t know, Hilary is the mother of Claire, who married Justin Duggar. While Hilary seems to enjoy spending time with her son-in-law Justin, she’s also gotten to know several of the other Duggar boys. As we’ve reported, she’s especially close with Jason Duggar. Some fans and critics think this is an odd relationship, while others think it’s great that Jason is supported by Hilary. Now, she’s getting to know another one of Justin’s brothers.
Hilary Spivey Shows Love To James Duggar
Recently, Hilary commented on a post that James shared on social media. In her comment, she called Justin’s brother a “cute dude.” On Duggar Bates Confessions, a fan submitted a confession about the comment, pointing out that it “creeps” them out.
In the comments section of the confession post, other fans are discussing Hilary’s comment. One writes, “I agree. I can’t imagine looking at my adult sons friends Instagram and calling them cute. Or even looking in the first place.”
Others don’t necessarily think it’s creepy, but they believe that Hilary might be making up for the love the Duggar boys might not have received growing up in a home with 19 kids. One writes, “I think she is just trying to show him the attention he missed out on getting from his own mom.”
Someone else adds, “Shes sooo creepy towards young duggar boys.”
Jim Bob & Michelle Duggar Distracted By Josh’s Scandal
As we’re reported, Josh, Jim Bob and Michelle’s eldest son, was arrested for receiving and possessing child pornography. His trial is in November, but in the meantime, new details about his alleged crimes have surfaced. With everything going on, fans have wondered if Jim Bob and Michelle might be distracted. For example, they’ve forgotten to post about birthdays on social media in the months following Josh’s arrest. They definitely have a lot going on, which could explain why Hilary is stepping up and helping out.
Of course, there are other possible explanations for Hilary’s involvement in the Duggar boys’ lives. The families have known each other for a while, so maybe she watched them grow up and feels connected to them for that reason.
