The mother of six watches Riley ‘fly a kite’
Earlier today (Oct. 16), Danielle Busby takes to her Instagram stories to share how she and Riley are enjoying their Saturday. One of the first clips of many, show Riley attempting to fly a flamingo pool float like a kite. The mother of six is entertained because she includes a cry-laughing emoji in the caption. “It’s a beautiful day today to ‘fly a kite’ or a “mingo” float.
Flying her pool float around isn’t the only genius idea Riley Busby comes up with. Next, we see Danielle lounging in the flamingo float with a glass of water and their puppy, Gus. Danielle explains the “mingo” float is now a restaurant. Riley even brought her mom some water in a matching flamingo glass.

However, at this point of the clip, Riley isn’t around. That’s because she went back inside to get her mom a snack. The six-year-old quickly returns with a plate of pretzels and a can of spray cheese. The TLC star inquires what her child brought her. As she takes the can from Riley, she says “it’s disgusting.” At the time time, the wind blows her plate of pretzels into the pool.
The clever six-year-old doesn’t seem phased by her mother’s distaste for her snack choice. Instead, she comes up with an alternative for the spray cheese. Riley Busby sweetly asks her mom to spray some into her mouth. Heartwarmingly, Danielle Busby obliges.
This isn’t the first time TV Shows Ace reports on this mother-daughter duo. On a recent beach vacation, the pair melts hearts with a photo of them in the ocean. Riley is holding her mom’s hand while it looks like she’s about to get knocked down by a wave. From the look on Danielle’s face, the water may be cold. One thing’s for sure, ‘Danielle and Riley Busby have a beautiful parent/child bond.
