Fans Speculate Astrid Loch, Kevin Wendt Got Married Ahead Of Baby
Bachelor in Paradise couple Kevin Wendt and Astrid Loch are expecting their first baby in about five weeks. The couple just celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving and also had a baby shower in honor of Astrid and their baby. They decided to not find out the gender of their baby until he or she is born. The pandemic has caused a lot of cancelations for many couples. Astrid and Kevin are no exception. They had to cancel their wedding and reschedule. However, many fans are speculating that perhaps these two secretly got married ahead of their baby being born. Why do they think this?
Fans speculate Kevin Wendt and Astrid Loch got married
On August 24, Kevin Wendt shared photos of his and Astrid Loch’s trip to the lake with their families. He said, “Photo dump (as the cool kids say). A couple of weeks at the lake blending our fams 💛 12 short weeks until there is one more at the party! @thewendtgang.”
It was during this photo dump that some pics showed Kevin wearing what appears to be a wedding band. Fans pointed it out in the comments too. Many pointed out what an adorable couple they are. Some pointed out the ring.
In posts following that date, the ring can be seen in some photos as well.
Heavy shared more speculation and comments from fans about Kevin and Astrid possibly getting married. Someone said, “Last I saw, they were still planning a wedding for November 2022. But I wouldn’t be surprised if they legally got married already!”
Another fan said, “My guess is they did some small ceremony over the summer when their families were all together at a lake house, but are still planning a bigger/formal event for next Nov. He seemed to start wearing a ring after that trip (based on ig pics). Just a hunch!”
Yet another said, “It definitely appears that way. Low key love if they just did something small and intimate before the baby.”
Kevin has a new gig
Fans will have to wait and see if the couple ever talks about getting secretly married. In the meantime, Kevin Wendt has a new gig. He is the new bartender for the premiere season of Bachelor in Paradise Canada. There are a lot of familiar faces appearing at Camp Paradise.
