“Happy Birthday, Esther! I’m so thankful that God brought you into our lives and into our family! I can’t tell you how much I have loved getting close to you as we have spent more and more time together- traveling, wedding planning, family parties, and great visits! It’s been so fun and encouraging to see your sweet heart and gentle spirit, your gratefulness, your contentment, and your love for Nathan. You make all the little kids feel loved too, and you usually have a baby in your arms, helping out every time they start to cry! You’re so easy to please, and flexible…(important qualities to have since most of the Bates are such spur-of-the-moment people!). I’m counting down the days to call you my daughter-in-law, but you’re already my friend… and I’m already blessed! I love you! ❤️”
