Jill Dillard’s Sisters Offer Love And Support After Tragic Miscarriage
Former Counting On star Jill Dillard is going through a difficult time right now. Though the situation is hard and sad, she has been able to connect with her sisters and get the support she needs.
As we reported, Jill suffered a miscarriage earlier this month. She took to social media on Monday to share the news with fans. She posted a short video highlighting her pregnancy, including all of the special moments that happened before the loss. She shared videos of herself and her husband Derick checking the results of her pregnancy tests. They also recorded themselves tell their sons Israel and Samuel that they were going to be big brothers.
In the caption of her Instagram post, she wrote, “💜We recently found out we were expecting our third baby. We were thrilled! However, a few days later we started miscarrying. 😭” They named the baby they lost River Bliss.
Immediately, fans began sending lots of love and support to Jill and Derick. Also, her family members shared encouraging messages amid the heartbreak.
Jill Dillard’s Sisters Connect Over Shared Losses
Jill isn’t the only Duggar who has suffered a miscarrage. Several of her sisters and sisters-in-law have had miscarriages over the years, so they made sure to leave loving comments for her to read. They’ve been in the same place as her, so they know what she’s going through.
Jessa Seewald, Joy-Anna Forsyth, and Jinger Vuolo all had recent miscarriages and opened up about them to fans. They commented on Jill’s post, showing their support. Joy-Anna writes, “River Bliss was so loved! I love you, Jill. My heart breaks for y’all. I’m so so sorry you are having to go through this. Praying for you all.”
Other Friends & Family Send Love
In the comments section of Jill’s post, others are apologizing for the loss. Amy King, Jill’s cousin and one of her close friends, wrote, “Love you so much and your sweet family… River would have been beautiful. Wrapping you in prayers.”
As Duggar fans know, the Counting On and Bringing Up Bates families are very close. So, Carlin Bates Stewart and Josie Bates Balka shared that they are praying for her. Little People, Big World alum Audrey Roloff shared a similar comment.
Though these comments can’t take away Jill and Derick’s pain, they likely help the family to feel less along during this heartbreaking time in their lives.
