’90 Day Fiance’: Colt Johnson Suffers DEVASTATING Loss
Colt Johnson made a name for himself as one of the most despised men in 90 Day Fiance history. He seemingly turned his life around after he appeared on the spinoff 90 Day: The Single Life. There, he solidified his relationship with on/off fling, Vanessa Guerra. However, the couple has just suffered a devastating loss and is trying to recover the best way possible.
Colt’s 90 Day Fiance Life
Viewers became familiar with Colt when he appeared on Season 6 of the hit TLC reality series with his girlfriend, Larissa Lima. The two met online as he was from Vegas and she lived in Brazil. To get to know one another, they flew to Mexico for a five-day vacation. Following the romantic rendezvous, Colt joined Larissa in Rio de Janeiro for almost a week. Ultimately, he decided to propose and she said yes so they began to plan her move to Las Vegas.
A big obstacle was his mother, Debbie who he lived with. She did not like anyone he dated at all. Though the two did tie the knot, they faced too many obstacles, including his mom. The marriage failed six months later and Colt rebounded with another fiery Brazilian named Jess. Unfortunately, he was secretly seeing his good friend, Vanessa behind her back.
Jess had her suspicions but he did not come clean until the tell-all. Vanessa was the only woman Debbie ever really liked. Though he tried to date other women, his heart was always with Vanessa who clearly did not trust him. She knew his track record so she was just a playmate for him. Finally, on The Single Life, she agreed to be his girlfriend and he proposed.
Moving On and A Sad Loss
Much to everyone’s surprise, Colt and Vanessa tied the knot prior to The Single Life tell-all. They did not even tell Debbie. Luckily, she was very receptive and the hope was this would stand the test of time. Sadly the couple was about to get tested in the worst way possible. Yesterday, Colt announced via Instagram that Vanessa suffered a miscarriage.
It was an unexpected pregnancy yet it became very exciting once they learned the news. Mama Debbie, who will appear on the second season of the 90 Day Fiance spin-off, shared her condolences: “My heart not only breaks but also aches for what Vanessa and Colt are going through. It is so very sad that things like this happen. One minute you are on top of the world with joy. Then the next you can’t believe how much it hurts. My love goes to my family. I love you both Colt & Vanessa.”
It is unclear if the pregnancy will be featured as Debbie attempts to find love on 90 Day: The Single Life, premiering next month. Deepest sympathies to Colt and Vanessa during this time.
