‘7 Little Johnstons’ BOMBSHELL: Trent & Amber Adopting 6th Child?!
Season 10 of 7 Little Johnstons is nearly here and an exclusive first look trailer dropped a huge bombshell on fans. Turns out, Amber and Trent Johnston are thinking about adopting a 6th child. What has inspired Amber and Trent to want more children? And, what do their current children think about this decision?
Season 10 exclusive trailer hints at adoption of new child
The Hollywood Life dropped an exclusive trailer of 7 Little Johnstons Season 10. Toward the end of the trailer, we see Amber and Trent sitting down with Alex and Emma. The parents ask what their children think about expanding the family. The scene cuts out before fans can see how Alex and Emma react. But, the trailer does cut to Emma discussing the potential adoption with her sister Liz.
Big sister Liz admits she was just happy she was able to move out before mom and dad decided they wanted to adopt another child.
7 Little Johnstons Bombshell: He’s older than expected
The 7 Little Johnstons bombshell does reveal who fans believe to be is the child Amber and Trent are considering adopting. Turns out, he appears to be an older child. The trailer sees several members of the family meeting the young man on some sort of video call. The trailer clip, unfortunately, doesn’t reveal any details about how old the young man is.
Statistically, it is WAY harder for an older child to get adopted. When people adopt children, they want babies. The fact that the young man also appeared to be a little person… Would only further his chances of someone wanting to adopt him. So, perhaps, someone reached out to the couple to find out if they would be interested in taking this young man into their family? Either way, this seemed to be a bombshell both for fans and for Amber and Trent’s children.
7 Little Johnstons bombshell: Fans have mixed feelings
The fans of 7 Little Johnstons don’t exactly praise Amber and Trent for their parenting. Fans are constantly giving Amber and Trent heart for being so quick to push their children out of the nest when they become of age. So, these same fans might have a hard time wrapping their heads around and accepting the idea of the 7 Little Johnstons couple adopting another child. After all, a lot of fans feel like the couple acts as though they don’t really want the children they have.

Trent would be fine, but Amber is so mean. You can actually look at the way she speaks to the kids and see the mean spirit in her. She cries the victim, as if the kids are to blame but the three oldest were killing themselves to get out of the house. Also, why did they give Anna and Jonah such a hard time about getting their adult life on path when they said nothing to Elizabeth about moving out with no drivers license or car. Okay…she’s on her own in her own house. How does she get around? Poor Anna? This family is a real mess. To add another child to this is not responsible. What agency would watch this and then okay a child to live there? Strict is one thing…it’s good to be strict and have rules. But having a mean spiteful spirit that show even through a TV set…you can’t give a child to that person! Especially one who is older and so probably comes with his own baggage. He needs parents like Jen and Bill. Not these people.
Why so critical with Amber? She and Trent have been great parents. They can be strict when the kids stray from what they were taught. It can’t be easy. The kids have been educated toward independence and that’s a good thing. This family works hard. Especially Trent.
These people can’t wait to rid those kids they have already. Giving the son a time limit when he has to be out,, the 2 girls couldn’t wait to escape the place. Many the government gives them monies to adopt. Its sad to place more kids with them. Do they work, besides the show?
I wish whomever they get, knows what they are getting into.
agreed Cat. Sometimes it was hard to watch the way the parents treated Jonah, Liz and Anna. I love the show -but those parents don’t need any more kids.
Cat, you’ve lost your mind! This is a awesome family! And the parents are doing a Great job with these beautiful kids!
I think that’s enough kids. Maybe they should just grow old like the rest of us – without trying to complicate their lives any more. Now is the time to ease into a more comfortable life – not fill you life with more responsibility. These two just need to accept the fact that their kids are grown up and…..this is what happens in every family. Or is it that Trent and Amber would be bored with just being alone with each other?? #enoughkids
The boy isn’t for Adoption he is a Little Person Exchange Student. . My sons highschool always took in about 10to15 Korean Chinese and Italian foreign exchange students each year. Most were placed with school family’s. ITS about 5600 to 8k. To be the homelife for them.
This family does not need anyone added to there family. They pushed their older kids to be out on their own. Why would they want another teenager who does not speak English. Amber enjoy college & your family with no stress!
