‘Vanderpump Rules’: How Much Are The Toms Worth?
When Vanderpump Rules first premiered in 2013, Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz led very different lifestyles. They were not the TomTom restaurant/bar owners viewers see on Season 9 of the hit reality series. So, after nearly a decade and a lot of hard work, where do the two Toms stand in regards to their net worth?
Vanderpump Rules Launches Tom and Tom
In 2013, Tom Sandoval was a bartender at SUR. He had started over at Lisa Vanderpump’s higher-end now-defunct, Villa Blanca. Like the best bartenders and servers (think Scheana Shay and Ariana Madix), he was poached for SUR. Not only was he fast but he had a strong personality and was innovative. He was also dating Kristen Doute, who was a server alongside him, at the time.
They became key cast members of VR as did Katie Maloney. She was dating Sadnoval’s former roomie and best friend, Tom Schwartz. He deemed himself a “mactor” which is a combinator model/actor. Along with Jax Taylor, they were a power trio. Yet, viewers were taken by the dynamic between the two Toms. Eventually, Tom Schwartz and Katie got married and it was time for him to become serious.
On that night, LVP approached the two Toms about opening a bar with her called TomTom. She knew Sandoval had the bartending skills while Schwartz could be the face and charmer. It took some time on Schwartzy’s part to find the confidence to commit. Finally, the two each invested fifty thousand dollars, both receiving five percent partnership. So, where do they stand financially now?
What Are The Toms Worth?
It’s Season 9 and a lot has changed for the Toms. They both have their own homes in Valley Village while TomTom has expanded. The success of the business has also allowed them to spread their wings and now the duo is opening a bar sans Lisa. Though Sandoval is putting up his part of the mortgage on his home for collateral, can he sustain his somewhat lavish lifestyle?
According to Meaww, Sandoval is worth around five million dollars. A good portion of his income comes from the series. Yes, he has made small appearances in made-for-television movies and co-wrote a book but Sandy brings in about 25k per episode. Furthermore, he promotes companies and brands which adds to his worth. As for his partner in crime, Schwartzy is worth an estimated four million.
His worth comes from the bar but, like Sandy, primarily from being on the show. He did not become a full-time cast member until Season 3. Since then, he has gotten married and now makes around 25k per episode, as well. His additional income also comes from endorsements and the occasional “macting” gig.
