Jon Gosselin Revisits Home He Shared With Wife Kate 12 Years Later

Jon Gosselin is taking a walk down memory lane. The former TLC star recently revisited the home he and Kate Gosselin shared with their eight children 12 years ago. Though Jon & Kate Plus 8 has ended, fans of the Gosselins enjoy keeping up with them on social media and seeing what they’re up to. Both Jon and Kate use social media here and there, giving fans updates about their lives.

As fans of the show know, Jon and Kate split in 2010 after 10 years of marriage. In those 10 years, they welcomed eight children to their family. Today, Mady and Cara are 20, and sextuplets Joel, Aiden, Collin, Hannah, Alexis, and Leah are 17. Now, Jon has custody of Hannah and Collin, while the rest of the children live with Kate. Mady and Cara have moved to New York for college.

In a new interview, Jon is taking a moment to reflect on what his life used to be like.

Jon Gosselin Returns to His Family’s Old Home

In an interview with Hollywood Life, Jon reflected on his return to his old home. He’s currently an Amazon employee and says he drives past his old house often. He said, “I pass it on the highway 100 times with Amazon. I travel that highway a lot. I was actually down one road that connects so I said, ‘I’m just going to stop. Why not?’ Who cares? I’m just a normal person now. I was working with my partner, the International DJ Casper and we were in the studio together working on some music and I was like, ‘You know what? I’m going to swing by my old stomping grounds and crib.’”

Then, he continued, “I actually rang their doorbell and nobody was home. I don’t remember who bought the house or if it’s the second owner after me and no one was home and the neighbors were looking at me like, ‘My God!’ and then I just took a selfie and said, ‘Why not?!’ and it was funny.”

Of course, the home has been updated since he lived there before. He said, “They added an awning to the front of the house. They changed the shutters. They put up a thing on the end of the fence and they have a dog. The tree in the front yard got really big! But it’s been 15 years since I lived there. It was interesting. That’s where it all started completely — Season 1.”
