One, Two, Kylie’s Coming For You – Jenner Summons Her Inner Freddy Krueger In New Photos
Kylie Jenner is the queen of creating a look, and with her latest post, she certainly didn’t disappoint. In a series of Twitter and Instagram posts over the last few days, Kylie takes inspiration from the original Nightmare On Elm Street film. Is this her take on a spooky Halloween costume? Read on to find out why this Kardashian-adjacent sib is bringing out her inner nightmare.
Kylie Jenner Launches New Kylie Cosmetics Line
On Tuesday, Kylie Cosmetics announced that a new collab product line would be launching on October 12th, just in time for Halloween. Titled, Kylie X Nightmare On Elm Street, this funky horror-inspired collab features several new products including a shadow palette, eyelashes, a lip lacquer set, and a lip and cheek jelly stain. The colors included drew inspiration from the color themes of the original films. So, as you can imagine they are hues associated with blood and flesh.
Summoning Her Inner Freddy
As part of the marketing for the collection launch, Kylie has shared a number of Nightmare On Elm Street-inspired photos. Each one embodying another facet of the film. In Tuesday’s post, the celeb wore a skin-tight, sheer tan catsuit. The jumpsuit has an all-over print resembling Freddy Krueger’s peeling, mottled skin. The outfit covers the celeb from neck to ankle. She is pictured, in a squat stance in front of a shattered window. The photo is very reminiscent of a scene in the original movie where Freddy jumps through a window and lands in that same fashion.
In a second photo, shared on Wednesday, Kylie wears a pale yellow bodysuit with a high neckline and a super high and very revealing bikini cut. The makeup guru paired it with knee-high, red leather boots and wore her hair down and wavy around her shoulders. In the snap, kyle looks seductively at the camera as she holds her arm with the opposite hand. Large faux scratch marks oozing blood, stream down one arm. The room that she is sitting in for the photo is a very well-done replica of the iconic bedroom from the film. There are ‘blood’ spatters on the posters that cover the walls of the fabricated bedroom set. Freddy’s glove and sweater are strewn about the room too.
Kylie posted several promo posts throughout the week spreading the word about the launch. Freddy’s song is sung quietly by children in the background giving the vid an extra bit of authenticity.

Will There Be Another Nightmare On Elm Street Film?
Following the collab announcement, many fans wonder if there might be more in store. Are filmmakers using the collab to promote a new film project? Is there a new Nightmare On Elm Street installment in the works?

Unfortunately, as far as we can tell, no. The Kylie Cosmetics collab was a seasonal project that took advantage of the timing of the spooky Halloween season. But, who knows, that might change. Kylie’s new product line launches on October 12th. So, if there is a new NMOES project coming, it would likely be announced around that time.
