Shortly before Geoffrey made a name for himself on reality television, he had gotten into a little bit of trouble. An ex-girlfriend accused him of physical assault in June of 2019 according to The Sun. She said he “grabbed her by the neck and slammed her head against a wall several times” prior to throwing her on the ground. Paschel was allegedly drunk at the time.

Additionally, he was later charged with kidnapping, domestic assault, interference with an emergency call, and vandalism. The trial was postponed a few times and COVID just added to the postponements. Whilst all this was going on, Geoffrey met Varya Malina from Russia. They began a long-distance relationship which landed them on Season 4 of Before the 90 Days. He knew he had to confess his background to her.

They did break up when she felt he was rushing things. He returned to Tennessee and started dating his best friend, Mary but Varya followed him home and he had to choose. So, now what?
