‘BIP’ Alum Dean Unglert Shares Producers Were Pushing For Engagement
Bachelor in Paradise alum Dean Unglert is sharing some details about his and Caelynn Miller-Keyes appearance on the finale. It may seem crazy but never put anything past Bachelor producers. According to Dean, the producers really wanted Dean to pop the big question. What did they say and what was his response?
Producers were hoping for a fourth engagement with Dean Unglert
Fans saw three couples get engaged on the season finale of Bachelor in Paradise Tuesday night. Among those engaged are Riley Christian and Maurissa Gunn, Kenny Braasch and Mari Pepin, and finally Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt. However, if producers had it their way they would have added Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Keyes to that list.
E!News shared details about Dean had to say about the producers’ planned plot. During his podcast with Jared Haibon he said producers approached him and wanted him to propose to Caelynn during their guest appearance on the show.
He said, “I think I can share this. I don’t see why I wouldn’t be able to.” He continued, “When we were down there, the producers…they, like, pulled me aside and they were, like, ‘Hey Dean, you should totally propose to Caelynn on the last day of the show,’ and I was like, ‘Are you serious? You’re telling me this, like, literally the day before we’re supposed to go down and film this episode?'”

As it turns out, Dean Unglert didn’t propose to Caelynn. However, the two are madly in love and even wear commitment rings to symbolize their love. At one time Dean was completely against marriage. However, his tune has changed a bit. Both he and Caelynn recently admitted that they considered getting married during their recent trip to Italy.
Plus, the two just recently bought a home together in Las Vegas. Dean said, “Usually a home has 4 walls and a roof.” He continued on their two-year anniversary, “but sometimes it has 2 eyes and a heartbeat.”
They met during their season together on Bachelor in Paradise. They didn’t make it to the finale. However, they rekindled their romance and have been together, going strong ever since.
The two love traveling together and just recently came back from Italy. Maybe one of these days Dean and Caelynn will officially tie the knot.
