Did Britney Spears Pass Up A Chance To Appear On ‘Dancing With The Stars?’
Many Dancing With The Stars fans absolutely adored the Britney Night episode on October 4. It was really fun to see the remaining contestants groove to all the pop princess’s greatest hits. If you’re a Britney Spears lover, you probably had an excellent time.
But rumor has it that show hostess and executive producer Tyra Banks asked Britney to be a guest on the show — and she turned down the offer.
Britney Spears allegedly passed on an offer to come visit the Dancing With The Stars stage
An anonymous source allegedly told Radar that Tyra Banks really wanted Britney Spears to make an appearance. That just didn’t quite happen.
“Tyra Banks worked overtime to get Britney on the show,” the source told Radar. “You have to remember that Tyra isn’t just the host, she is also the shows very hands-on Executive Producer, who is not above hitting the phones to get what she wants. Tyra tried everything to get Britney to make a surprise appearance including contacting Britney’s fiancé, but she passed.”
After all, Britney Spears has been in the news a lot lately due to her conservatorship. She probably wasn’t too eager to be back in the limelight like that. The source went on to add producers then asked Britney to make a special video for the episode, but she declined that offer as well.
Some fans may think she’s snubbing the show, but this isn’t the case according to one of the popstar’s friends.
“As you can imagine, Britney is getting a million offers to do a big TV interview, but isn’t ready yet. Making a cameo on Dancing With the Stars would have been fun, but it just isn’t the right moment,” another source allegedly told Radar. They add she’s flattered DWTS had an entire night dedicated to her music, though.
Maybe this time next year, we’ll maybe even see Britney Spears competing on the show.

Dancing With The Stars preps for Disney Night
If you enjoyed Britney Night, get ready for Disney Night. During the October 4 episode, Tyra Banks teased that competitors will be performing Disney-themed routines during the October 11 episode. If you follow the cast on Instagram, you might have noticed that the cast recently took a trip to Disneyland.
