‘LPBW’: Matt Roloff Kicks Off Pumpkin Season 2021 (SEE VIDEO)
Several members of the Roloff family have been social media silent for the last few days. Turns out, they’ve been busy opening up Roloff Farms for Pumpkin Season 2021. Stay on this page for behind-the-scenes photos and videos.
Matt Roloff promises new attractions at farm
Every year, Matt Roloff comes up with new ideas to bring people to Roloff Farms for Pumpkin Season. One year, he built a train for the kids to ride.
This year, he brought in the big guns, literally. He purchased an air cannon for the farm. It’s unclear what he’s going to do with it, but it’s sure to be something big.
He took to his Instagram in August to start promoting the event and selling tickets. Due to COVID-19, people planning to attend the Pumpkin Season even need to purchase tickets ahead of time, online only.
Pumpkin Season 2021 kicks off with help from this Roloff family member
Despite the change in ticket policy, it seems many fans flocked to the opening of the annual event. The Roloff Farms official Instagram shared a photo from the first day of the season. Pumpkin Season 2021 officially started on Friday, October 1st.
Matt Roloff shared the same photo and caption on his own Instagram feed. Alongside a photo of himself and one of his sons, the caption proclaimed that the two people in the photo “helped make sure” that day one “took off without a hitch.”
The photo shows Matt and Jacob Roloff smiling ear-to-ear at the success of the start of Pumpkin Season. Of course, Jacob has a lot to smile about these days. He is expecting his first child in December. His wife, Isabel Roloff, is pregnant with their son. There’s speculation that Jacob and Isabel may be living with Matt or Amy ahead of the baby’s arrival.
Was Amy Roloff there for the opening?
Speaking of Amy, fans wondered if she would make an appearance at the popular event now that she’s married to someone else. In late August, Amy finally walked down the aisle with Chris Marek.
The wedding was held in one of the buildings on the sprawling property.
Rest assured, Roloff fans, Amy was a huge part of opening day for Pumpkin Season 2021. She posed with several fans in a cheerleader costume, as seen on the Roloff Farms Instagram.
Some of the other clips the account shared were a panoramic video of the estate, plus a sneak peek at the wagon tour of the farm offered to guests.
More than just pumpkins, what else is there to do?
Pumpkin Season at the Roloff Farms is about a lot more than just pumpkins. Attendees can also enjoy the Halloween-themed ‘spooky forest’ and a photo op with the Roloff clan. Typically, the actual Roloffs are available for the photo op. But this year, the event is playing it safe with cardboard cutouts of the various members of the Roloff family. The likeness is uncanny!
After strolling through the pumpkin patch and getting your fright on in the forest, don’t miss the farm’s Country Store, with all kinds of goodies, including Amy’s famous salsa.
Hopefully, Roloff Farms will have a successful Pumpkin Season for 2021. Have you been to the Roloff Farms pumpkin patch or your local pumpkin farm? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
