‘Vanderpump Rules’: How Much Is Randall Emmett Worth?
Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent has been feeling Randall Emmett for years now. One big selling point was how well he treated her. Especially how he spoiled her like no other man ever had. She divulged these details on both the show and more in-depth in her book, Give Them Lala. Yet, just exactly how much is Emmett worth?
Randall Emmett Pre-Vanderpump Rules
There was a big stigma around Kent and Emmett’s relationship prior to him being shown on the reality series. Her co-stars believed he was a rich married man thus why she kept him so elusive. No one really knew who he was when Lala first started dating him in Season 5. Initially, he was married to jewelry designer, Ambyr Childers. They had two children together but the marriage fell apart.
Lala did all she could to keep him a secret, including being called horrible names by now-friends, Katie Maloney-Schwartz, Stassi Schroeder, James Kennedy, and Kristen Doute. Randall was the type to buy Lala a Range Rover soon after they met and fly her on a private jet. Throughout Season 6, Lala maintained he was very well-off and well-known. It was not until Season 7 that she finally revealed who he was. Randall is a producer and Lala has actually starred in some of his films.
Once the truth came out and the cast met him, learned who the real Lala was, they embraced her “boo.” He helped arrange a private jet for a girl’s trip to Sonoma. The guys soon got to know him and realized he was just a chill down to earth guy. By Season 8, he allowed himself to be featured on the series and ended up in Jax and Brittany’s wedding. He’s a very giving and generous man but what is his net worth and how did he get there?
How Did Randall Make His Money?
He started as an intern for Jerry Bruckheimer, according to Life & Style. Via International Creative Management, he became Mark Wahlberg’s assistant. If you have watched the hit HBO series, Entourage, Emmett claims he was the inspo for the character of Turtle. Twenty-three years ago, along with producer George Furla, they launched Emmett/Furla Oasis Films.
Additionally, they launched Oasis Films, a Dubai-based financial holding company. In 2000, it produced its first film and its specific business model had grossed over $1.2 billion in worldwide revenue to date. The model that seemingly works for them is to produce films on lower budgets where the countries are tax-incentive friendly. They end up getting older action stars who take higher salaries for less screen time. Then, the films are distributed either overseas and/or on-demand. The company has it down to a science.
Emmett also produced Silence and The Irishman which did extremely well as well as executive produced Power, starring 50 Cent. For fun, he plays professional poker but has admitted to playing with Martin Scorcese and the Vanderpump boys. This leaves his net worth at around 20 million dollars. Add in appearances on Vanderpump Rules and he is set to take care of his older daughters, Lala, and their baby girl, Ocean.
