Wells Adams Will Not Be Taking Over For Chris Harrison
Wells Adams’ fans may be sad to hear Wells will not be taking over for Chris Harrison on The Bachelor franchise. This may come as a shock considering he’s a fan favorite and he has said he is open to it in the past.
Wells Adams hosting The Bachelor
Ever since Chris Harrison’s exit earlier this year, the Bachelor franchise has been looking for a permanent, full-time, solo host for the many shows in the series. First, they had Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe host The Bachelorette.
Then, for Bachelor in Paradise, they had several different hosts step up weekly. This isn’t a road they want to continue down though.
Cue Wells Adams. Wells was on The Bachelorette and has since found love with actress Sarah Hyland. That hasn’t stopped his time on the show though. He constantly bartends on Bachelor in Paradise and surprisingly plays a pretty big role in helping the contestant along.
In the past, Wells Adams has even said he would be open to hosting the show.
“Whatever they want me to do, I’m ready to do it! I’m not sure what the next step is, but whatever ABC and Bachelor Nation wants, I’ll go do it,” he reveals. “If they want me to host the show, sure, I’ll go do that. If they want me to be the janitor next season, okay, I’ll go do that too. Whatever you guys want.”
How sweet is that? Wells really pulls through for the fans.
One would think he would be the perfect host since he basically does it anyway. However, Reality Steve reveals this isn’t the case, unfortunately, Cosmo says.
“(BACHELOR FILMING UPDATE): Clayton’s season begins filming on Tuesday night at the mansion.
Also, I don’t know who the new host is yet but I’m hearing now that’s it’s NOT Wells. As reported last month, they are looking for a new, permanent, solo host,” Steve shares on his Twitter.

So, it appears the search for the next host will continue. Perhaps they can get Wells back in the running. he seems to be the next best option after Chris Harrison. There is really no one else who could pull it off as Chris could.
