Hallmark’s ‘Sister Swap’ Christmas Movies Are Williams Sisters Fun
Hallmark’s Countdown To Christmas starts in one month. One of the 2021 highlights is the Sister Swap movies. They star sisters Kimberly Williams-Paisley (Father Of The Bride, A Nashville Christmas Carol,) and Ashley Williams (How I Met Your Mother, Never Kiss A Man In A Christmas Sweater).
Yes, they are sisters. This is one of the biggest surprises to many Hallmark fans. They are goofy, close, and absolutely fun sisters. So, who doesn’t want to experience double the Christmas movie fun?
They will be two movies that are interconnected. However, viewers still get the full story, even if they only watch one. But, who wants to miss the sisterly antics that are promised in these movies?
What Do We Know About Hallmark’s Sister Swap Movies?
Hallmark’s 2021 Countdown To Christmas 2021 includes two Sister Swap movies. Again, these movies star real-life sisters, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, who is 49, and married to County superstar Brad Paisley, and Ashley Williams, 42, who is married to independent film producer, Neal Dodson.
According to People, the two movies are called Sister Swap: A Hometown Holiday and Sister Swap: Christmas in the City. Originally, the movies were called Christmas At The Madison, Parts 1 & 2.
The two movies tell the story of two sisters, Jennifer and Meg Swift. They may be related, but they are very different people. Jennifer runs a successful restaurant in Salt Lake City. She had opened it up with her late husband. She is a single mom to a teenage boy and life has been a challenge.
Meanwhile, Meg stayed in their hometown of Hazelwood. She is working for the family’s bakery, alongside their parents.
Williams Sisters Incorporated Real Life In Movies
Ashley Williams revealed that they are planning on putting their real-life relationship into their sisterly characters. Ashley admits that “One of my favorite things about being Kim’s sister, other than the amazing advice and constant support she is to me, is getting to raid her closet.”
It cannot get more “sisterly” than that. Sounds like that may happen in these movies, as Williams also shared, “The all-too-consistent, ‘Is that my sweater?’ was just too funny and real not to incorporate in these movies!”
Besides sharing clothes, what else could fans expect? Well, if you follow Kim or Ashley’s social media, the two love to dance, make goofy faces, and prank. Moreover, Kim says that they find “safety and comfort” working together. Along with “delight.” They always seem to find each other delightful.
Moreover, the two sisters spent a lot of time acting, while growing up. Kimberly shared that “My brother, sister and I put on a lot of homemade shows in our parents’ living room when we were younger.”
The siblings even had enough cheek to charge the guests five cents each!
