Duggar Fans Appalled By Jason’s Response To Natural Disaster
Former Counting On star Jason Duggar and several of his siblings are a part of the Medic Corps. For those who don’t know, Medic Corps is a non-profit organization that helps out with natural disaster relief. Over the years, the Duggar and Bates men, as well as other volunteers, have pitched in.
As we’ve reported, the Medic Corps recently helped out with Hurricane Ida relief. Some of the Duggars went there to help as well. Now, a comment made by Jason about the natural disaster has surfaced, making Duggar fans pretty upset. So, what did he say?
Jason Duggar shares a post about the natural disaster.
A Duggar fan submitted a photo and anonymous confession to the Duggar Bates Confessions page on Instagram. In the confession, the fan asked, “Did Jason Duggar really say ‘until next time’ when leaving a disaster zone?” The photo submitted is from Jason’s Instagram stories. Unfortunately, stories are only visible for 24 hours, so it’s unclear when Jason posted this. This has lead to some confusion among fans.
In the comments section, fans are discussing what Jason might have actually been talking about. As mentioned, he did recently return from helping out with Hurricane Ida.
One fan writes, “Disasters happen. He is there to help. Sure, in hindsight, it’s a not the best, but he means that when the next disaster happens, he will be there to help. Stop trying to make something out of nothing.” Another adds, “Unfortunately in his line of work it’s Only common to think this way. No different than a firefighter saying until the next fire.”
Others think he might have written this without even thinking twice. Everyone posts “dumb” things sometimes, fans say.
Some other Counting On fans have another explanation for the post. They recall that Jason recently returned from visiting his sister Jinger Vuolo in Los Angeles, California. So, it’s possible that the photo was posted then instead of when he was leaving after helping with the hurricane.
It’s unclear if Jason went to help with Hurricane Ida in particular. In the past, he has been involved with the Medic Corps, but he could have been in Los Angeles during this time instead.
So, what do you think Jason Duggar was actually talking about? Do you think he was talking about the hurricane, or was he just thinking about heading back to Los Angeles? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
