Below Deck Med Season 6 star Lloyd Spencer already has a new job. Does that mean he quit the yachting industry? He opened up about his challenges with working in the yachting industry. Before he joined Captain Sandy Yawn’s crew, he worked for a toxic boss.

The deckhand couldn’t believe how lucky he was this season. His boss was Malia White, who was welcoming and accepting. During a crew night out, Lloyd shared with his fellow crew members that he’s not exactly straight. His crew members said that they accepted him and loved him no matter what and he felt overwhelmed by the support.

Lloyd Spencer was harassed and bullied

On this season of Below Deck Mediterranean, Lloyd shared his experience with his previous boss. He shared the details with his crewmates. He revealed that his boss would harass and bully him because of his sexuality. Lloyd shared more details in an interview with E! News last month. His views of the yachting industry were “quite negative” after that moment.

“It didn’t just equal it out, it completely smashed my previous experiences out from my memory almost,” Lloyd explained. “They’re still there, but I don’t know the right words to say. I came out of it with such a confidence boost and such a positive view on possibly going forward into the yachting industry.”

Below Deck Med star announces his new job

Lloyd hasn’t left the yachting industry behind. The Below Deck Mediterranean star shared the new photos to prove it. He teased his new yachting job with a picturesque shot. On Friday, September 10, Lloyd announced that he’s “Back on Charter in Greece and loving life.” The yachtie had a big smile on his face in the photo.

Lloyd also took to his Instagram Stories to share that he had “to save another [boat’s] crew.” He then took the time to appreciate the beautiful view. Thankfully, he’s been getting along with his new crew members. He cracked a joke that read “when you ask for a photo on the tender.”

This may new job reveals that Lloyd may not come back to Below Deck Mediterranean. He became a fan-favorite and breakout star for his iconic mustache and unique personality. Fans flocked to his post to comment about his lack of mustache. Some of them even begged him to bring the mustache back, even if he’s not back on the show.
