‘Dancing With The Stars’ Adds Two Pros To The Cast — Let’s Meet Them!

Can you believe that the new season of Dancing With The Stars is almost here? Just ahead of the premiere, DWTS announced there will be two new pro dancers joining the cast. But who are they?

Sofia Ghavami and Ezra Sosa will be part of the upcoming season, but they won’t have celebrity partners. If you were hoping for a last-minute addition to the cast, you’ll be a little disappointed. Instead, Sofia and Ezra will step in whenever one of the competing pros is ill, injured, or otherwise unable to compete in an episode.

With COVID-19 still going around, this is probably a pretty good idea. Last year, DWTS managed to keep all the contestants safe during the competition. But anything could still happen.

According to ET, Sofia is from Miami. She’s a highly experienced dancer but loves Latin Ballroom the most. She also went on tour with Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd, so she already knows some of the seasoned DWTS pros.

Ezra hails from Utah, so he’s in good company. Plenty of the other DWTS pros also have roots in Utah. He’s a U.S. National Latin Ballroom champion and has been featured in many tours, movies, and television shows.

Both Ezra and Sofia are So You Think You Can Dance alums, so they’ll fit in just fine with the rest of the pro dancers.

Give these new dancers a warm welcome!

Dancing With The Stars Season 30 will be here in a little over a week

Get excited, because Dancing With The Stars will be back on your television screens on September 20. The full cast list is out, but that’s all we know for now.

But even so, several sleuths already deduced which celebrities will dance with which pro dancers. There will be 15 celebrities and 15 pro dancers competing. Ezra and Sofia will be on standby until they are needed.

One thing is certain — the competition will be really fierce this year. Many of the Season 30 cast members have dance experience, which will almost certainly give them a bit of an edge over other competitors.

Even though Amanda Kloots was a Rockette once upon a time, she doesn’t believe this gives her an advantage.

“If you could see these rehearsals, you’d know that I have no advantage,” she told ET. “I’m telling you, it’s like a new language. It’s like you know English, but now you’re learning French. It’s starting from scratch.”

Stay tuned and make sure you catch the premiere of Dancing With The Stars Season 30. There’s going to be a lot to look forward to this year! Who do you hope will take home the Mirrorball Trophy? We want to hear from you. Let us know who you’re cheering for in the comments.
