Courtney Waldrop Reveals Her Process For Naming Nine Children
Turns out, a lot of TLC fans pester Courtney Waldrop on what the sextuplets’ middle names are. The question is simple: Do you know the middle name of Courtney and Eric Waldrops’ children? If not and you are curious, you are in luck. The Sweet Home Sextuplets mother took to Instagram recently to feed her followers curiosity.
Courtney and Eric Waldrop had to come up with A LOT of names
Now, Courtney and Eric Waldrop are the parents of nine children. This means they were put in a position where they had to come up with 18 different names. They needed nine first names and nine middle names. Fans that follow the former reality TV family know the first names of the nine Waldrop children very well. But, some fans aren’t too sure about the childrens’ middle names. Courtney explained on her Instagram post that she had covered what the middle names of her children were in a YouTube video on their channel.
As a mother of nine, she understood that some people just might not have time to watch a video to get the answers. So, she decided to answer some questions fans kept asking about her children’s names in her Instagram post.
She kicked off her Instagram post by answering some other burning questions Sweet Home Sextuplets fans asked.
Do her Courtney and Eric Waldrops’ children have family names?
No, they don’t.
Did the TLC parents pick water names for the sextuplets intentionally?
“No..honestly didn’t even realize it until after we had our 3 big boys and someone pointed it out,” Courtney explained.
How did the Waldrop parents come up with 18 different names?
Turns out, Courtney and Eric had selected most of the potential names for their children before they even knew they would bring sextuplets into the world. Courtney explains these were names she had found and written in her bible.
She continued to explain: “And why I tend to love names having to do with water I absolutely have no idea. Rawlings came from baseball and Tag from a friend but other than that all the other first names were already picked!!”
How did Courtney and Eric Waldrop select the sextuplets’ middle names?
Courtney continued to admit that they had not selected middle names for the children. Turns out, middle names were something the couple worked out while she was on bed rest. Courtney jested that she had a lot of time and nothing to do. So, she used her time on bed rest to come up with middle names for her children. Finally, the former TLC mother penned all nine of her childrens’ first and middle names.

She also added that her middle name was Danielle and Eric’s middle name was Dustin. In the caption, Courtney Waldrop included a hashtag that acknowledged how unique the names of her children were. In the comments, her followers admit they LOVE the unique names. Some added they also used their bible to write down potential names for their children.
