Mackynzie Duggar Forced To Care For Siblings In Mom Anna’s Absence
Mackynzie Duggar, Josh and Anna’s oldest child, appears to be taking on a pretty big role at the young age of 11 years old. It looks like she’s become responsible for her five youngest siblings, Michael, 10, Marcus, 8, Meredith, 6, Mason, 3, and Maryella, almost 2, based on recent photos of the family. Plus, Anna has another baby on the way.
As we reported, the Duggar family got together to celebrate Labor Day at Farmland Adventures in Arkansas. Many members of the family were able to make it to the outing, but some of them are obviously missing. Of course, fans know that it must be difficult to organize a family gathering with so many people. So, fans usually don’t give it too much thought.
But this time, fans have a big reaction to a very noticeable absence. Anna is nowhere to be seen in the handful of photos that Jim Bob and Michell shared on social media. It looks like Anna might be with Josh, as she reportedly spends a lot of time with him at his guardians’ home. But this meant that her kids attended the family outing with their grandparents and sister to supervise them.

In one of the photos from the gathering, Mackynzie has her nearly two-year-old sister Maryella on her hip as six-year-old Meredith stands in front of her. It looks as if Mackynzie has taken responsibility for at least two of her younger siblings.
On Reddit, Duggar family followers are talking about the new photo and the fact that Mackynzie appears to be taking care of her siblings. One thinks that Anna is with Josh, leaving her 11-year-old daughter to care for the kids. They write, “Anna is off being joyfully available to that animal and m1 is 12 years old looking after 5 kids. Nice.”
Someone else chimes in, “She isn’t looking after the other five m’s. Michelle is looking after her grandchildren just like she looked after her own. Oh, I forgot. Guess M1 is looking after all 5.”
In addition to Anna’s absence, Mason was missing too. So, maybe Anna was caring for him at home if he’s under the weather.
